A Tenderfoot!

Last night we had Jeremiah's 2nd Court of Honor for Boy Scouts! His whole troop received their Tenderfoot Rank! Jeremiah has big plans in getting to 2nd Class then 1st Class as soon as he can! We are very proud of how he is taking to Scouts! It's a wonderful outlet, where the boys can learn wonderful lessons and tools for life! He has an obstacle to overcome this summer which needs prayer! Even though he swims fine in our pool and the lake, he has never taken lessons to learn proper form. Steve is going to try to teach him in our pool! He will need to know this for Camp and to get his 2nd Class Rank. Please pray that he will relax and lesson to instruction. He is a very quick learner once he gets over the "I can't do it" hurdle! Here are some pictures from last night.

Please pay no attention to the lady in back, just the smilin' boy in front!

Aww, congrats! My boy's a Life! He wants to be an Eagle, but he's having a hard time getting motivated to do the stuff for the merit badges; some of it seems too much like school to him.

Congrats to Jeremiah! I'll pray for him and his swimming hurdles.

BTW - I like the "lady in back" - she sat by me at dinner last night and was delightful!
