Thankful Thursday!

I am completely amazed at home fast Thursday rolls around! If you blink you'll miss so much! Iris is hosting another Thankful Thursday for us ladies to look back and reflect on all that God does for us each and every day! First of all I am thankful to her for the Thankful thought accountability she provides through this exercise!
  • I'm thankful for the life and breath that God gives me each day! So often I take it for granted, but with the Breath of Life, and the breath he gives we are but dust! Praise God!
  • Well tomorrow the kids are done with school for the year so that's a big YAHOO!!!! We leave Saturday for the Conference grounds and so far the weather looks hot so the pool and lake will be great to be around!
  • I'm thankful for all the growth this year in both Jeremiah and Bekah! They have had a great year (for the most part)! It is amazing to see how they are growing and maturing!

  • I'm thankful for the teachers they have both had this year! They've done a tremendous job, and I appreciate all of them!
  • I'm thankful that Steve will be home tonight! He has been in TC all week! I'm also thankful that things have gone so well with him gone! I don't like having him gone, but the kids and I just plug through!
  • I'm thankful for all the noises I hear outside my window right now: crickets, birds, etc... I'm thankful for all the green outside: Trees, grass, bushes! I love how God greens things up!
  • I looked out my kitchen window this morning and saw this! It was just 6:00 and the sky was brilliant! There was beautiful blue then this big mass! My first thought was "Red in the morning, sailor take warning!" (wondering what the day's weather will bring), my next thought was look at God's creative power! Don't you just love storms! Even though they can be destructive and deadly (that part I don't like, especially for you guys in the tornado, hurricane and earthquake belts), but God is so much bigger and indescribable then we can even imagine!

Psalm 148
1 Praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD from the heavens,
praise him in the heights above.
2 Praise him, all his angels,
praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
3 Praise him, sun and moon,
praise him, all you shining stars.
4 Praise him, you highest heavens
and you waters above the skies.
5 Let them praise the name of the LORD,
for he commanded and they were created.
6 He set them in place for ever and ever;
he gave a decree that will never pass away.
7 Praise the LORD from the earth,
you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,
8 lightning and hail, snow and clouds,
stormy winds that do his bidding,
9 you mountains and all hills,
fruit trees and all cedars,
10 wild animals and all cattle,
small creatures and flying birds,
11 kings of the earth and all nations,
you princes and all rulers on earth,
12 young men and maidens,
old men and children.
13 Let them praise the name of the LORD,
for his name alone is exalted;
his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 He has raised up for his people a horn,
the praise of all his saints,
of Israel, the people close to his heart.
Praise the LORD.

So much to be Thankful for this day, don't you think!!!! What are you thankful for!

I'm glad that school is out for your kids. We are out, too. That's neat that you mentioned the growth that you've seen in your kids. I'm thankful for that too, especially the spiritual growth. Plus, two of my daughters are showing me more respect. They are at that pre-teen age. I remember how difficult it was for me.
