Mothering moment!

I just have to vent a little! We all have our moments right?! I am having a major mothering aggravation moment here! Our sweet eldest has trouble with memory! Not memory when it comes to Pokemon, Smash bros, star wars, Raymond or every other non important issue in life, but memory when it comes to ah....homework, projects, notes home so parents know what's going on, etc.... etc....

This mother is having a hard time knowing when to keep the pillow in place and when to yank it out from under his lilly white butt!!!! I'm sure some of you wonderful bloggy sista's can relate and maybe even sympathize! Please someone sympathize!!!! I may be going a tad bet nuts here, but I just don't think I can remember everything he is forgetting!

argghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Psalms 127:3
Sons are a heritage from the LORD,
children a reward from him.

Thank you I am done now!

Yup- I can to relate and yes you are allowed to vent!!!

Good thing we love them so much right- even though they can drive us nuts sometimes.

It's called selective memory and it is closely related to a similar affliction called selective hearing. I've noted that it seems to affect males more often than females, although they can also be affected. My kids did suffer from this at times.
I like the verse you ended with!

Oh honey I know what you mean. One of my teenagers favorite phrase is "I don't know" and "I forgot". Well what I did, was forgot to do their laundry, and did know why! Forgot to make dinner, and didn't know why. After doing this a few times he got the idea. Forgetting and important things have real impact on others lives.

LOL ... oh girl, I can sympathize. Even though my daughter is young ... I have those Mommy days where I want to scream!

Scream away...we understand! Better here than in his face...which is what I tend to do when I get frustrated with mine!

Oh, yes, thankfully these year are behind me. If our son forgets something now, it only will take a couple of times -- he is on his own -- so no mom to remind him...

I am sorry that you have a hard time right now...and venting sometimes does a soul good :)

Definately, definately, definately can relate! I understand where you are coming from.

Also, when they want to do something that they want, they can hurry up. But, when you ask them to do something---it is like pulling their hair out of their head.
