The Newest Member of our family!

I would like to introduce you to the newest member of our family:
His name is Hersery and he is a Russian Winter White Hamster. In the winter he is supposed to turn white. Isn't he cute! Honestly I can't believe I am saying that, but he is a cutey! I find he is alot like Champ! They both sleep alot! Sleep, eat and poop! Anyway Hersery belongs to the smiley little girl below. This chick can save money like no ones business! She is nothing like her mother or brother! If we have money it burns a hole in our pockets. She was saving for a dog, but Dad is not to keen on tht so she opted for Hersery.

Welcome Hersery, I hope you live a good long time ( 1 or 2 years is average).

Good job Bekah!
I will say there is something cute about him, but I'm such a wimp- they remind me too much of mice and they freak me out!
I hope he lives a good long life too!

We had a dwarf hamster here for a while and he was well loved too. Ours appeared after Laura was old enough to drive and she bought him to "surprise" us! He was cute though and so is Hersery!

My kids had gerbils and they LOVED them! Yay for animals that can be left alone for a weekend trip!

Aww! He's so cute! I wish hamsters were legal as pets here in NZ - I'd definitely have one! :D

Kim, that little Hershey is just too cute! (Your sweet baby girl is too) I've NEVER been a hamster kind of girl, but after seeing your new pet I think I might be able to stand it. (As I say that.. we've got hermit crabs in the boys' room. How gross are they?) LOL!!

I hope you guys have fun with your new pet! =-)
