Learning to Live Well Wednesday!

In an attempt to be a better steward of God's temple I have finally joined "Living Well Wednesday!" I step in apprehensively, but desiring also for God to have control of every aspect of my life! Fear of failure is real, whether right or not! Wanting to feel better is real too! I am tired of the way I have been feeling lately, and so discouraged. In a post from Darlene Schacht at CWO she said this that really spoke to where I am
"Then the familiar voice whispers in your ear, before it moves through your lips, “I’ve tried, and I’ve failed. I can’t possibly ever succeed.” That’s exactly the kind of discouragement that keeps us out of the race."
I claim victory in Christ Jesus! I may not feel it yet, but I know Him to be faithful, and that I can trust, so I speak it!
A woman in a comment mentioned her pastor lost 100lbs living by Galatians 5:16
16But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).
This I choose for myself as well!
God bless and may He have the victory!!!

Hello Kim, and welcome to Live Well Wednesday.
I know just where you are coming from. First, start making the thoughts and words you think about yourslf positive instead of negative. Don't dwell on past failure. Today is a new day, make it the start of a new mind-set. It is very important to have a plan with daily steps that become almost ritual. If I don't track my food, I will eat randomly. I feel the difference this time for me is the time I spend in the Word, letting Him control my steps instead of letting me do it myself. When I am living by my plan, I do not hear the enemy like before. I have felt before that once I had a little success, I tried to sabatage myself by turning back to old ways. Like you, I choose to live differently and at Sundown, I'll sing a victory song giving Him the glory.
Good luck
Mama Bear
