Super Word Saturday! A little late!

This has been an incredibly busy day! The kids chose their words earlier today, but I am just now getting home to post them! Hope you enjoys these!

Jeremiah's Word - Sword Grass - any of various grasses or sedges having leaves with a sharp or toothed edge

Jeremiah's Sentence - I accidentally stepped on the Sword grass and it pierced by foot.

My Verse - Isaiah 40: 7 & 8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the LORD blows on them. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."

Bekah's Word - Putrid - being in a state of putrefaction : rotten b: of, relating to, or characteristic of putrefaction : foul 2 a: morally corrupt b: totally objectionable

Bekah's Sentence - Champ smells putrid! (He really doesn't, ya know)

My sententce - Isaiah 64:6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
We hope everyone of you has a blessed Easter! May you come to understand in a deeper way what Christ did for us all, but especially for you individually!

my husband is a grassland specialist (which makes for some interesting road trips) He always had a rhyme about sedge grasses. Sedges have edges and rushes have brushes.

I still love your Super Word Saturdays.
