Sorry the blogging has been sparse this week! It's been busy, and my brain has not had enough time to formulate thought worthy of (paper) posting! Today we have some very interesting words for you, and I am even throwing in an extra that we learned in Evangelism Explosion this past Wednesday! Aren't you all excited now?!

Jeremiah's Word - Gesellschaft - a rationally developed mechanistic type of social relationship characterized by impersonally contracted associations between persons; also : a community or society characterized by this relationship

Jeremiah's Sentence - The two were gesellschaft in their college dorm.

My Verse - Joshua 9:27
That day he made the Gibeonites woodcutters and water carriers for the community and for the altar of the LORD at the place the LORD would choose. And that is what they are to this day.

O.K. that was hard to find a verse for! I think I did O.K., but not sure! I love being stretched, don't you!!!

Bekah's Word - Stumble bum - a clumsy or inept person; especially : an inept boxer

Bekah's Sentence - My brother is a Stumble bum! (touche'!)

My Verse - Proverbs 14:7
Stay away from a foolish man, for you will not find knowledge on his lips.

The word we learned the other day is: abeyance - a lapse in succession during which there is no person in whom a title is vested 2 : temporary inactivity

They used it in this sentence: If you don't mind, would you hold it (meaning that question) in abeyance until we finish what we are talking about.
We all looked at each other and said "huh". So now all you who read my blog and go to EE will know the meaning of abeyance. Aren't you glad!!!
