Living Well Wednesday!

Just a short report this week. I continue to struggle and take a step backwards, but the thing that is different is I am strangely calm about it! I am not defeated! I know that this is a huge stronghold! But I also know that my God is patient! He loves me and does not want me to feel like it can't be done! That would give satan to much control! He gently teaches me, even in my failure, that he is beside me and there to pick me up! I know that I will have victory! The verse that keeps coming to my mind the last couple of day is:

Philippians 3:12-15

12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Psalms 28:7 says: The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.

So both Champ and I are going to go for a walk right now, and sing a song of thanks, because he is my strength!

well said. I think we have all felt this same way at times. You have a wonderful outlook.

We must be on the same wavelength because Philippians 3 is my favorite set of verses, ones that I come back to in so many situations. One of the main reasons is they help me refocus on Him instead of the struggle that is at hand (and usually ready to go into my mouth, ha! ha!)

Have a great day! I'm enjoying getting to know you through your blog.
