Biggest Loser - Week 2!

Well I just got home a little while ago from the Biggest Loser weigh in at church. I lost 6 pounds this week! The scale at church weighs me 3 pounds heavier then the one at home, but I have lost 6 pounds on booth, so I'm pumped! Thank you Lord for showing me so much this week: about making a covenant and keeping it, learning that when I say I'm going to take care of myself to my family I had better mean it!

It has been fun this week! I can't even believe I said that, but it really has! I haven't had a fountain pop in over a week! I have limited my coffee to brewed coffee, no lattes. I did get sugar free Cappuccino at the store the other day so I have that once in a while! My diet doesn't feel to limited, just smaller and more thoughtful. I can't believe that I feel the way I do. If you had told me even 2 weeks ago that I will feel this way I would have thought "NO WAY"! I attribute this all to the Holy Spirit and His power! Also good friends that encourage and support me in so many ways! Also a loving husband who is my biggest cheerleader!

I know not every week will go this well. There will be highs and lows, but I am in this and I am not alone!

Thanks for listening and for all of your support as well!

Way to go Kim! That's a great number. I lost 3 and while I wish it was more, I'm okay with it because I had been sick the day I weighed in last week and didn't have any fluid in my body, so it's probably actually more than 3. (Did you understand that rambling sentence?) Anyway - we just need to stick with it!

Thanks for your encouraging comments on my blog. I have heard about that book and probably need to read it. I have five other Piper books in front of it just waiting for me to read them!!!

Wow! That is fantastic! You are encouraging me to work on my need to lose some weight! The other day when I was dying for my caffeine fix of sweet tea or DP, I thought of you and that helped me over the hump.

Thank you for sharing! I joined in on the 24 verses this year after you mentioned it to me! I've never heard that song before, but it reminds me of childhood somehow!
