Super Word Saturday

Well it's that time again! The kids have picked their new words, so the challenge begins:

Bekah's Word: Respondent: one who responds: as a: one who maintains a thesis in reply b (1): one who answers in various legal proceedings (as in equity cases) (2): the prevailing party in the lower court

Sentence: When my mom calls, I am a respondent.

My Verse: Psalms 102:17 He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their plea.

Jeremiah's Word: Nightie (I don't know how he gets these interesting words): a nightgown for a woman or child

Sentence: That child wears a nightie.

My Verse: Psalms 42:8 By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.

Have an awesome Saturday! Enjoy your family, and be in the WORD!

OK...

my word is IMPULSE... a Sudden spontaneous urge or inclination... (this could get me in trouble,, I mean it does)

I am very impulsive when it comes to getting a new haircut. My husband really worries about me!!!

Ecclesiates 2:9 (The Message) I gave in to every impulse, held back nothing.

yes this sounds accurate about me.. probably why I can't loose 25 lbs...and my doctor is on my case.. LOL..

thanks for letting me play...

I hope those words on Raw, minister to your friend... they really hit me to the core

More good words. I'm glad Bekah is a respondent, my kids weren't always great at that!

That is so totally cute. I wish I had thought of that idea!!
My kids learned alot of vocab through Adventures in Odyssey. They would come to me and ask, "Mom, what does ....mean?" I would say, "Where did you hear that???"
Sometimes I didn't know myself:)
