All Flimits!

I just thought I would share with you what my daughter thinks is Off Limits! This is what she thought people were saying when they said the above, so she put it on her bedroom door!

Prayer request: Tomorrow Jeremiah goes to 5th grade camp. Please pray for him to be able to work through his issues, to listen to the teacher's, counselors, and cabin parents! To try even though things seem hard, and to have fun with his friends. As a mom of a boy with impulse control issues this is one of those times where I am giving my fear to God! I can't be there to help the situation. I realize that I need to allow him to do this himself and that he may have a rough time. One of my biggest fears is that people will not see past his attitude to the real wonderfully hearted boy on the other side! He is a great kid! I fear what other people, including his classmates will do or say to him! He already is starting to be teased by alot of kids at school! Thank you for your prayers! He is gone Wednesday through Friday!

Surrender all... he will be fine because Jesus will be right by his side at all times! I think that was the hardest for me with Logan too - letting him make his mistakes and then seeing him face the consequences. I think the hardest part about being a Mom is the times when you should do nothing and let them mess up. It'll be ok, Kim. He'll get life figured out and then he'll excel at what he's interested in and shock and amaze you! :)

That is so cute!
I'll pray for Jeremiah and for you. It's so hard for us Mom's to give our fears to God, especially regarding our kids. I still have this problem and look how old my kids are!

That is the cutest sign EVER!

I hope all goes well with your son while he is at camp. Big changes are sometimes made in kids' lives while at camp!

I hope things go well for your son at camp, and I said a prayer for him. I would have a hard time letting him go, too. One of my daughters doesn't always make the right decisions when in social situations. I want to protect her from the hurt and rejection of others. She is the type of person that would rather learn through reality disciple then to listen to what I have to say. This is so hard for me, because I like to avoid problems and I'm always so careful not to offend anybody. My daughter is wonderful and compassionate and helps me out so much with her younger sister. She talks openly with me and I can always count on her to help me when I need it. But, she doesn't think before speaking and I'm so sad that she has to learn about this the hard way.

That is priceless! (the sign) I am smiling to myself! Hope things work out with your son. I have a boy and I know it is so hard. God will take care of him. Focus on God's promises. "For I the Lord your God hold your right hand. I am the Lord, Who says to you, FEAR NOT: I WILL HELP YOU! Isaiah 41:13 God bless you!!

I love it! :D

The sign reminded me of my youngest daughter Leanne. After her first day of Sunday school she came running up to me, all excited to tell me about her new teacher. She told me his name was Mildew. "Mildew? Are you sure it's Mildew?" "Yes Mommy, his name is Mildew". It took me a minute and then I realized that Mildew was really an older cantankerous man in our church named Milton.

What was even funnier is the name Mildew kind of described the guy's personality which made me laugh that much harder! :D

I'm keeping Jeremiah in my prayers! I'm sure he'll do well at camp.

Have a wonderful day,
Suzie

I've said a prayer for you and your son.

And LOVE the sign. Reminds me of when, as a kid, I drew a "blue print" of my room, and labeled furniture. I was so proud of it. When I showed it to my mom she tried really hard not to totally crack up that I had labeled my chest of drawers as a "chester drawers." But hey, we're from Georgia, and that's how we say it!
Thanks for sharing her flimits sign!

Absolutely adorable! You need to save that in her baby book!

Praying that all goes well with Jeremiah. It's so hard as moms to watch our kids go through things! But remember you didn't send him off along - there's Someone right there with him!

Saying a prayer for your boy. I know you must be thinking of him constantly. there is no love like mother-love, except God's love--he is closer to Jeremiah than his own next breath. Also, I loved the sign your girl made! I'll remember this one!
