Since Jeremiah was in DK (Developmental Kindergarten) I have made a sign for the 1st day of school stating what grade each child is in and different things about them. Here is this years! I am holding back tears as I type because I can't believe how old they are!
Kam and I are going to do something to make ourselves feel better! Taking the day to relax!
This morning in my devotions God pointed up these verses to me! It is my verse for the day, and basically for my life!
Psalms 130: 5 & 6
I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
My soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.

I always had a hard time with the first day of school too. I can't believe your kids are getting so old - I think Bekah was born only a couple of years ago!
I hope you have a great day enjoying yourself and that your allergies get better!
Oh Kim! You're going to be an absolute wreck when they move out of the house one day aren't you?!!! I love my kids more than I could ever say in words but I do enjoy these days when they're gone for just a few hours! :) Have a great day with Kam!
I love the pictures they made, very cool!!
Great pictures, great tradition!
Thanks too, for sharing Psalms 130:5-6. That is exactly where I'm at...not where I'm studying, but where I'm living.
Blessings,
Debi
Oh Kim, love your post today. I take pictures of my kids every year also. I wished I had made signs, that is such a good idea for future reference!! Hope you have a wonderful week!
Cute! I like how you did the posters with the year of school. It is hard to see the kids grow up and sometimes it is nice also.
I love the imagery of "watchmen waiting in the morning." Imagining a brilliant sunrise...
Congrats on the first day of school. Love those signs!!! :~D
Mom's heartstrings...wait until they are on the verge of leaving home. :P
Thanks for visiting me and your encouraging comments. You are in Canada right? So you have to go DOWN to the UP!!!
