Then Sings My Soul Saturday!

I heard this song by Casting Crowns today, and it just spoke to what I am feeling right now! I am so grateful to Jesus for his love and mercy towards me a sinner, who so often can fall back into old pattern's!

Psalms 103: 11-13
For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
As a father has compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;

Hebrews 4:15 &16

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. 16Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

This whole song speaks to me, but these words I need to sing over and over until they become a part of who I am! I tend to be a distrusting person, and I am going to begin praying that God takes this away from me finally! Finally I will have freedom in this area!
I know You’ve washed me white
Turn my darkness into life
I need Your peace to get me through
To get me through this night
I can’t live by what I feel
About the truth Your word reveals
I’m not holding on to You
But You’re holding on to me
You’re holding on to me
Today I am so thankful for God's mercies! He picks me up and dusts me off! He disciplines, guides and teaches! Sometimes his student is not the quickest kid in class, but he never let's me go!

Kim, "He will never leave you or forsake you." He loves you too much to give up on you - don't give up on yourself! You are a special, CHOSEN daughter of the risen King! He cares about you so much and He hurts when you are down! I hurt when you are down and I'm here whenever you need a hug or just an ear to hear!

I love Casting Crowns! This song is one of my favorites. I also have to learn I can't live by what I feel but by the Truth His Word reveals! Great post!

Blessings Kimberly...thank you for sharing Casting Crown...I want my sins to be as far as the east is to the west...It is through His mercy,
I have found rest...the scriptures were powerful with the YouTube video.
I did not want to see the video but when I saw Mary, I just had to try
and watch to see how go a mother watch her Son like that!!! I guess it's because of Sister's of Faith doing Beth Moore's Bible Study on
JESUS...

But I, too...need to get beyond
that same statement in BOLD & large
"I can't live by what I feel"! My emotions are always right there. I
don't think it's a trust issue for me though! Thanks for sharing from your heart! I am so THANKFUL to Our Lord Jesus for His love, grace &
awesome mercy, also. I want to approach that throne of grace with boldness and confidence...such compassion...poor Jesus & Mary!

May God bring you the freedom you seek! May He be our constant help!

Isn't it amazing that Jesus always picks us up. No matter what. I always pray that I will get better and need less and less picking up.

As far as the East is from the West, my God has laid all my sins to rest. Forever grateful I will be, for my God has delivered me. That's some of a joyful little song I wrote.

That is a pretty song.

You know... our sins can really wreak havoc on our mind, yes?
torment us. and keep us in the bondage that Satan so loves..

if we let it...

but if we remember the Cross...then we can live in the freedom we are promised...

I too forget all to often...

Beautiful post...

thank you my dear friend...
