I thought I would take part in Thankful Thursday today, to remind me, even in the tough times to give God praise! Today I am thankful for:
- People who are praying for my healing! I have a wonderful church family that is bringing me before the throne!
- A wonderful husband who goes above and beyond in helping me. I can see he wants to make it all better, but can't and that bothers him, and I love him for it.
- A son who comes up the stairs in the morning lately all dressed for school.
- My children who help get me things when I can't get to them!
- Ice packs, Motrin, vicadin and muscle relaxers! ; - 0
- A Chiropractor who is willing to come in on his day off to help ease the pain!
- Having a job where I have flexibility of hours, and wonderful co-workers in Christ who care about me.
- Blogging friends who are praying!
- God being good all the time!
Romans 8:28-29 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

I am so sorry that you are having back pain! I know what you are feeling. Glad you have a chiropractor that cares about patients in pain!
I just ate lunch and said a prayer for you and I was wondering how you were doing today. I'm so thankful that you have so many people loving you through this!
You know that I'm praying for you and will do whatever I can to help out!
Thanks to everyone for the comments! God is good! There are so many other people who suffer far worse then I do right now. It helps to keep things in perspective! I ssssoooo appreciate and love all you guys! I'm truly giving THANKS!
Thanks for joining in, I will be praying for you.
That's a great list and I'm still praying!
Hi,
I'm so so, sorry to hear you've been in so much pain.
I suffer with my back, and the good news, in time it WILL get better.
I have 4 herniated discs, and when my back goes out, it takes a long time to heal. BUT IT WILL, trust me.
You are better off not getting MRI'S. All they will want to do is sugery, and I'm not convinced that is the answer.
I'll keep you in prayer for sure.
Blessings to you...
Thanks Susan! That's good to know about the MRI's and such. I know alot of people who have had surgery and are no better off. I so appreciate your prayers! God Bless!
Oh, dear - I am so sorry to read that you are not doing well. I will be praying for God's healing touch. How wonderful that your family is so supportive. Get some good rest.
Blessings to you and yours.
Kimberly,
I am always amazed at how complete strangers, yet children of the King, will pray for one another.
This is a great post. Thank you for sharing from your heart. Love and hugs, Lynn
